Welcome to Queer Climbs Halifax's Website!

We are a volunteer run community group in K’jipuktuk (Halifax, Nova Scotia), dedicated to creating fun, inclusive community for 2SLGBTQIA+ climbers!

We run different outdoor and indoor climibng meet-ups over the year and sometimes can help offer closed and subsidised climibng classes to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Our events for July, 2026 are

• July 15th: Outdoor bouldering meet-up at Chebucto Head, meeting at the lighthouse trailhead at 6:00 pm *rescheduled for rain!
• July 17th: Pride Celebration at East Peak Climbing Gym from 6:00-9:00 pm. We have the whole gym booked and want to climb with pride all night long! No experience needed, we will be around to offer belays and cheer you on! Tickets are $10+tax and include rental gear (limited supplies). Get one here!
